Here's what's new in beanies.family for 28 september 2026 — improvements to help your family plan, track, and stay organised.
Who Owns What is here, in beta: a deck of household cards that shows who looks after what.
New features
Who Owns What (beta)
Find it in The Treehouse. About 80 cards cover the jobs that keep a family running, from cooking dinner to date nights. Keep or skip each one, hand it to someone in one tap, split it by child or by place, and re-deal it whenever life changes. It is still in beta, so tell us what works and what does not.
Family check-ins
Every few weeks the cards worth talking about come up. Mark each one No Issues, We've Talked or Save for Next Time, and deal any card nobody holds yet.
The card in hand
Cards have their own illustrations, and opening one shows the card with its full history. The desktop board fills the screen, and the deck prints as a fridge sheet.
The Bean Pod in the sidebar
Meet the Beans, the Scrapbook, Milestones, the Cookbook, Care & Safety and Emergency Contacts are now one click away.
Also new
All-day activities that repeat can now last several days, overnight events show on the next morning too, and several calendar layout fixes.
