Here's what's new in beanies.family for 25 september 2026 — improvements to help your family plan, track, and stay organised.
Magic beans can now read your bank statements.
New features
Import a bank statement
Hand magic beans a statement as a PDF, a photo, a CSV or pasted text, and beanies lists every transaction for you to check before anything is added. It spots the ones already in beanies and flags possible duplicates, so nothing is counted twice.
Tell magic beans what it is
Tap a tile to say what you're sharing, and each page picks its own for you.
Save tells you what's missing
Every drawer now shows what still needs filling in before you save.
Manage your recovery kits
See every recovery kit you've made and cancel any you no longer trust.
Also new
An Interest income category, helpful hints in your daily briefing, and Import a statement now comes first on Budgets.
